EMFA is proud to appoint Daniel Derksen as our Director of Coaching for 2025. Daniel brings with him extensive coaching experience in many sports throughout his career and life including leading one of our U15C team's to Provincial Gold in 2024. Coach.ca provides information on the NCCP National Coaching Certification Program and access to The Locker which is a central location to easily access, manage, and maintain your coach training and records.
For any new coaches to softball (no previous softball NCCP training), the Foundations of Coaching Softball - Part 1 online module will be a pre-requisite. Coaches must complete this before they can obtain Community Softball Trained status on their NCCP transcript. Learn more

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
All EMFA coaches and parent helpers are required to complete a criminal record check. Combined with the criminal record check, approval to be on the field with the athletes will only be granted by the Head Coach and the Director of Coaching.
